Privamnuts Kenya Limited was incorporated in the year 2011 to engage in agro-food processing and more importantly to exploit the opportunity that existed in the Kenyan Macadamia market. When it started, the company had its principal offices and processing plant in the industrial area of Thika municipality, about 30 Km from Nairobi, the Capital City of Kenya.

In the year 2015 the company constructed a new state-of-the-art processing plant in Embu town, about 130 Km from Nairobi. The new plant began operations in February 2016. In the same year, the company was issued with export processing zone operating license and changed its name to PRIVAMNUTS EPZ (KENYA) LTD.

Quality and food safety are our topmost concerns and as such we have competent quality control and quality assurance teams ensuring superior quality of our nuts right from farm to dispatch. Our facility and processes run on FSSC22000, Organic, Kosher and Halal certifications.

Privamnuts EPZ (Kenya) Ltd currently has a total processing capacity of 7,000MT of which 3,000MT being organic nuts inshell and 4,000MT being conventional nuts inshell per year.

We have set up collection centers in close proximity to our farmers and run a macadamia nursery that has over 30,000 organic seedlings which are available to our farmers at subsidized rates.

Privamnuts supplies macadamia kernel to some of the world’s largest food manufacturers, as well as the snack, bakery, ingredient, retail and confectionary industry sectors.
